ANNOUNCEMENT: “Serpents U.S. Releases Second Album Pestilence”

After a year-long hiatus, the American “Blackened Deathcore” band Serpents U.S. has announced the release of the second full length album entitled, “Pestilence” due by physical and digital release May 20th, 2014. “Pestilence” track listing:

  1. The Progeny of Ishtar
  2. The Fall of the Usurper
  3. The March toward Megiddo
  4. The Threads of Moirai
  5. The Virtuous Remliel
  6. The Manus Dei
  7. The Epilogue

Pestilence” marks the second solo effort of former Oceano guitarist Andrew Mikhail under the Serpents U.S. name. “Pestilence” was written, performed, produced, and tracked by Andrew Mikhail (in between tours with Defiler) at his home studio in Chicago, IL.

The editing, mixing and mastering was handled by Derek Moffat of 608 Studios in Milwaukee, WI.

Additional drum tracking for the record was done by previous member Ryan Hilerio (System Divide, Pyrexia) with Anthony Tansosch of 502 Recording in Newburgh, NY.

Cover artwork for “Pestilence” was created by artist and clothing designer Jamie Koala.

Pestilence” will be released digitally May 20th, 2014 via iTunes, Google Play, Amazon, and other fine digital retailers.
